Online Boat Course and Exam
In partnership with Ace Boater, Aqua Safe is pleased to recommend this link to an online course.
The Ace Boater online course will step you through the various knowledge requirements required for the Pleasure Craft Operator Card. You must spend at least 3 hours pacing through the course material before you can link to the exam.
When you are ready, you will be linked to the Transport Canada site for an open book online exam, You must answer 50 multiple-choice questions. A pass mark is 75%. (38 out of 50 questions correct.)
After successful completion of the online exam, you may print out a Temporary Pleasure Craft Operator Card, which is valid for 30 days. In the interim, Ace Boater will mail your permanent Pleasure Craft Operator Card to your specified address.
